Purpose of Position:
The Madison 56ers Soccer Club is accepting applications for the position of Director of Business Operations. This position is full-time and reports to the President of the Madison 56ers Soccer Club. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of three- to five-years experience in management, including strategic planning, human resource management, board/committee and policy development, and staff/volunteer recruitment and supervision. Fundraising and grant-writing experience desired. Experience in financial administration, including budget/audit development and management, preparation of monthly income and expense reports, and general accounting required, in addition to excellent communication, people, and applicable computer skills. Experience working with people of diverse cultural and economic backgrounds preferred.

Responsibilities:
The Director of Business Operations position is under the direct supervision of the Madison 56ers President and Board of Directors and is part of the club’s executive leadership team. The Director of Business Operations provides business operations management, short and long term strategic planning and implementation, nonmember revenue fundraising and promotions, budgeting and compliance, volunteer recruitment, land and facility asset management, event planning and oversight, and coordinates club marketing and public relations. Working closely with the Madison 56ers Soccer Club President and its board in partnership with the club's director of coaching, volunteers, and staff, the Director of Business Operations works to establish and implement plans, policies and procedures that will guide and ensure the organization’s long term sustainability and success as a high-end competitive soccer club.
