56er Player Named To National Team
An eighth-grader from the Madison 56ers Soccer Club got one of the best Christmas presents any young soccer player could hope for: an invitation to join U.S. Soccer’s national U-14 boys team. Benjamin Borns-Moore, who attends Madison’s Wingra School, will join 35 other fourteen-year-old players at the U.S. national camp January 20-27, which will be held in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Congratulations to the 56er U16 Girls Red team for winning State Cup! After holding a 2-0 lead through most of a hard fought match the team held off a tough FC Milwaukee squad 2-1 to claim it's second title in four years. Nice job to the team and coach Stuart Barker. On to Regionals!
